Club Penguin Memories Weekly Post Roundup – Week 39 Of 2012 – Would You Like Club Penguin Memories Translated?

Here is this week’s post roundup and news:

News:

  • I added a new header penguin image, meaning there are now 54. All necessary pages have been updated. I just need to work on fixing the mobile theme. I might hold on this however, or even just temporarily remove the mobile site. Thoughts?
  • I’m always open to suggestion – how can I improve Club Penguin Memories? What should I add? Remove? Is there anything I should post that I don’t, or anything I shouldn’t post that I currently do? Let me know.

It has been suggested to me several times that I set up a Spanish version of Club Penguin Memories. Upon looking at website statistics for CPM English is the most commonly used language of visitors who visit this website, followed by Portuguese speakers, then Spanish speakers. Many of the foreign language speakers also speak English too, or use Google Translate.

Would you like to see Club Penguin Memories in other languages, starting with Spanish? It’d probably be something like spanish.clubpenguinmemories.com or something like that. Currently those who speak Spanish or Portuguese and visit Club Penguin Memories either use a translator or are fluent enough in English.

So to all you Spanish and Portuguese speakers – would you like Club Penguin Memories translated into your language? I can’t promise that it’d be done (i’d need all of your help) but I would like your input as to whether or not you want a translated/localised version of Club Penguin Memories. Hopefully all of this makes sense. You can always say something in the comments in addition to voting in the polls below.

  1. I think you made a mistake “Currently those who speak Spanish or Portuguese and visit Club Penguin Memories either use a translator or are fluent enough in Spanish.” Don’t you mean fluent in ENGLISH??? :P

  2. There will be new treasure book in two weeks, as there always is every 3 months, October, January, April, July, October, etc. that’s the schedule!

  3. Train! Train!
Remember when Polo Field said on his Twitter that October and NOVEMBER were going to be awesome? In November 2011 (last year) there was a ninja party and in Gary’s quotes he said something about a snowstorm!

I’m 95% sure CARD-JITSU SNOW will come in November 2012.

  4. I also speak English, but I’m from Brazil and like to read in portuguese too.

Eu também falo inglês, mas eu sou do Brasil e gosto de ler em português também.

  5. Hello, I am Brazilian, I read this blog a little while, but he draws much attention by recalling the memories. I speak Portuguese, and would like to be part of your team to translate this blog into Portuguese.
I do not speak much English, but I understand a little. Also, can I use translators (as do I read the posts) and make adjustments more common in my language.
Club penguin game since April 2009, which may help me a lot to make the posts.
Sorry mistakes, but had to use a translator to get in touch, and please answer me by email.
