Last week the Club Penguin Times made mention that SoundStudio was going to be a mobile app soon, then yesterday Megg mentioned it on the Club Penguin Blog in her SoundStudio Party sneak peek. As a follow up today she made a post all about the upcoming iOS and Android app.
About a week and a half ago Megg announced that the Puffle Wild app was going to be updated later in the month. Yesterday, Friday, that update was released.
While Club Penguin has not officially announced that they are working on a Puffle Wild app for Android, a listing on a Disney employee’s LinkedIn profile confirms that it is indeed in the works.
Along with bug fixes Club Penguin has added some small new features to their mobile app. The first update you’ll notice right away, as it shows up with the app is loading. Rather than a blue background with a spinning arrow I got a big green loading screen with the text “Adopt a Puffle”.
Today the mobile Club Penguin app on iOS and Android has been updated to version 1.6.2. Along with a cool new temporary icon for the Star Wars Rebels Takeover it also has some bug fixes.
Since releasing Puffle Wild for iOS last year there has only been a small update with bug fixes. For those of you wanting new features in the app, you’re in luck! Later this month Puffle Wild will get its first content update.
Late yesterday Club Penguin’s main iOS app was been updated to version 1.6. Usually the big number changes in the version signify a big update with lots of new features, but this time it’s quite the opposite. Maybe 1.6 has to do with the Android app release?

Along with the launch of the Club Penguin Android app and also a minor update to the Club Penguin iOS app, today Disney has also released an update for their Puffle Wild app.
An all new update is available for Club Penguin’s iOS app! This update contains some improvements to the app so the Merry Walrus Party and Coins For Change run smoothly.
