On the third of October Club Penguin has updated in 2008 and 2013. 2008 held there was the release of that month’s new Penguin Style and 2013 saw the release of multiple new catalogues, a new pin, Halloween Party teasers, and more!
The October 2008 Penguin Style contained fun new Halloween costumes such as the Frankenpenguin and Faery. Classic Halloween items such as the Ghost Costume, Skeleton Costume, and Black Mask made a return, too.
In 2013, not only was the clothing catalogue updated, but the furniture and igloo catalogues were, too. Usually the furniture and igloo catalogues (now a single catalogue) were updated the second Thursday of the month during this time period of Club Penguin, however the team had decided to release them early. All three of these catalogues contained Halloween themed items, whether it be clothing, furniture, or even an igloo.
Aside from the three catalogues updates, a few other updates also took place. The Prank Fangs Pin, Club Penguin’s 256th pin, was the sixth and final pin to be hidden at the Cave Mine before it was replaced with the Gold Mine.
Club Penguin also updated the igloo music with spooky new music and updated the postcards with some Halloween themed ones, added the puffle food station to the Pizza Parlour, and last but not least they began to advertise the upcoming Halloween Party by adding login and logoff screens and also adding a teaser video to the website’s homepage.
