Club Penguin’s ninth Halloween Party has been released! This party has many new additions compared to previous ones all while having the awesome Halloween Party feel to it.
Table of Contents:
When you first log on Rookie will appear.
Happy Halloween! The island is filled with candy, like bursting.
I ordered waaaaay too much! Trick-or-treat on the island or in igloos to get as much as you can.
Oh, and some candies are cursed…
But I don’t think anything bad can happen from a curse, right?
Anyway, to trick or treat simply go up to one of the giant pumpkin candy areas. If you place this item in your igloo penguins can trick or treat there too, which is a great way to get igloo likes too!
Simply click three, it does not matter which.
It’ll then tell you how many you’ve earned. At this party instead of coins, the candy is used to buy items.
For a minute or two after taking candy from a pumpkin you cannot get any more from that particular one.
If you get a special transformation candy it’ll tell you.
Rookie will notify you.
Woah! You found a Full-Moon Fireball. Be careful!
They’ll turn you into a howling wolf if you eat them! I’ll put that in your candy bag for safekeeping until we can figure out a way to get rid of them.
Transformation is members only. Simply click the candy bag icon in the top right to access your cursed candy.
Here’s an example of the transformation:
As for trick-or-treating in igloos, members can be placed on the Trick-or-Treat Igloos list by placing the special jack-o’-lantern from the Furniture Catalogue in their igloo.
Once you do that you’ll get prompted to have your igloo open to everyone if it isn’t already. I could have sworn mine was already open to everyone though, but whatever…
You’ll then see yourself on the list. (as well as others) You can access this from the Stadium or the map.
There are multiple variations of each candy. I’m not going to go into detail on every single one but another one is the Fang Fudgie. This one turns you into a vampire.
Collect all three Full-Moon Fireballs, all three Fang Fudgies, and all three Zombie Zingers (you get them all at random) for a prize.
As I mentioned above the candies are used to buy items instead of coins. About 2/3 of this catalogue is new items and 1/3 is old items. A few items such as the Trick-or-Treat Bag are for everyone.
There are not three, but six special party emotes!
There are many amazing new room designs, such as the Cove.
…and the Dock:
…and the Beach: (and others)
There’s also some classic room designs such as the Pool!
Rookie is visiting and does have a new background. You can check out the meetup times in my other post.
How do you like the party! This is sweet! (no pun intended…)
