On This Day In Club Penguin History – May 19

On the 19th of May there has been updates in 2006, 2010, and 2011. In 2006 the postcard and igloo music features were added to the game, in 2010 the Sports Shop and HQ were destroyed, and in 2011 the beta team was updated.

Club Penguin’s postcard system was very different in 2006 compared to how it is now. The Penguin Mail didn’t exist, so you couldn’t save postcards in your mailbox. You could only send postcards to players when they were online and the postcard could only be viewed once. The Penguin Mail replaced this system as a part of CPIP, short for Club Penguin Improvement Project, in July 2008.

Also on this day in 2006 Club Penguin added the first igloo music tracks. Back then you needed the Jukebox or Stereo in your igloo in order to be able to play music, although this was changed some years later.

On this day in 2010, due to the Veggie Villain PSA mission, the Sports Shop and HQ were destroyed due to being overflowed with popcorn by Herbert. The Ski Village also showed some popcorn spilling out of the Sports Shop. This marked the end of the PSA and movement towards the rise of the EPF.

Sorry it's in Portuguese lol

Sorry it’s in Spanish lol

The final update on the 19th of May has taken place in 2011. The Beta Team was updated on Club Penguin’s website. “Places For New Map” was added and “Snow Cone” was removed.

  1. Thanks for replying to the email!

Btw, as you asked a few days ago, Belly18 (July 2007) was banned in March 2015. I now use Fimim (June 2007), my brothers that he hasn’t used since 2010, most of the time.
