Club Penguin is “set to fully expand onto mobile devices after a long delay”

The New York Times has published an article about Disney’s recent Disney.com design, launched in the beginning of this month. (which looks great, by the way) The article also mentions something about Club Penguin, something very interesting and noteworthy. Here is the quote from the article:

[…] Club Penguin, a virtual world where children groom virtual arctic fowl, is set to fully expand onto mobile devices after a long delay. “It’s an important ingredient to profitability,” Mr. Pleasants said of Club Penguin.

That excerpt from the article states that Club Penguin is set to fully expand onto mobile devices, which means they plan to make Club Penguin available on mobile devices, most likely sooner than later. How soon do you think? Before the holidays, maybe? There is the unreleased Card-Jitsu Application and unreleased My Penguin application, but I feel like the article is implying all of Club Penguin would be accessible on mobile devices. What are your thoughts and ideas?

  1. I FOUND THE TIME TREKKER! LOOK IN THE TELESCOPE IN THE MANSION. AFTER THE BAT PUFFLE APPEARS WAIT AND YOU WILL SEE SOMETHING ZOOM ACROSS THE SKY THEN THERE WILL BE A FLASH OF LIGHT WHERE THE TREKKER WAS AND IT WILL BE GONE! ALSO IF YOU CHECK ON CP WIKI THEY HAVE A DISCUSSION WHERE IT SAYS WHAT I SAID AND APPARENTLY IT WILL BE ON OCTOBER 31. THE OFFICIAL ARTICLE ON CP WIKI SAYS NOTHING ABOUT THE 31ST BUT IT DOES SAY THE TELESCOPE THING.
