Here are all of the minor Club Penguin updates from recently.
For those of you who own an iPhone, iPod, or iPad, as long as you are on iOS 6 and visit Club Penguin’s website you will notice something that has been recently added – an app banner advertising Puffle Launch! It’s at the top right under the address bar. Take a look:
The app banner is only shown in Safari. This feature, called Smart App Banners, was added by Apple in iOS 6. If you have an app on the iOS app store and put in a line of code in your web page, any mobile user visiting your website in Safari on their mobile device will get a little banner at the top notifying you they have the app. It shows the app icon, price, rating, and has an option to either open it up in the app store or close the banner.
Other minor updates include the new Club Penguin logo being out on their whole website.
Club Penguin’s official main Twitter account was verified the other day. (even though we have known for a while it is real)
