A List of Which Sentences From “We Wish You a Merry Walrus” Do and Don’t Pass The Filter

A long time ago (specifically August 15, 2015) I had the idea of taking the entire script of We Wish You a Merry Walrus and checking it against the filter, because as we all know Club Penguin’s filter is awful. I hear that Club Penguin Island’s filter is vastly improved (why can’t it be put on regular Club Penguin too, are they purposefully trying to kill it?) however keep in mind that CPI has only been available rather recently, and in a very limited rollout.

The following script was taken from the television broadcast’s subtitles. Red means it didn’t pass the filter. Each numbered line from the subtitles is what I tried putting through the filter. If the sentence was too long I broke it up in a way it would hopefully pass the filter. Anything in parenthesis denoting sound, for example “(Rockhopper laughing)”, was not tested.

00:15:51,001 –> 00:15:52,900
Merry Walrus!
(chuckles)

360
00:15:52,936 –> 00:15:55,570
It’s my name and my catchphrase!

361
00:15:55,605 –> 00:15:56,704
(gibberish)

362
00:15:56,740 –> 00:15:58,006
Enrique!

363
00:15:58,041 –> 00:15:59,707
¿Cómo estás?

364
00:15:59,743 –> 00:16:02,543
Oh, great and wondrous
Merry Walrus,

365
00:16:02,579 –> 00:16:03,745
we must stop Herbert!

366
00:16:03,780 –> 00:16:05,613
He has a dastardly plan to–

367
00:16:05,649 –> 00:16:08,516
No need to recap.
I was here the whole time.

368
00:16:08,551 –> 00:16:10,818
Quick!
Everyone to The “Migrator!”

369
00:16:10,854 –> 00:16:12,487
Arrr, me ship is fast,

370
00:16:12,522 –> 00:16:14,622
but it’s no fancy flying machine.

371
00:16:14,658 –> 00:16:18,626
Not to be defeatist, but all hope is lost!

372
00:16:18,662 –> 00:16:20,762
If only we had another sleigh.

373
00:16:20,797 –> 00:16:25,700
This calls for a Merry Walrus miracle!

374
00:16:25,735 –> 00:16:28,636
A two-sleigh garage!

375
00:16:28,672 –> 00:16:29,771
(applause)

376
00:16:29,806 –> 00:16:31,773
Yay!

377
00:16:31,808 –> 00:16:34,942
Merry Walrus away!

378
00:16:34,978 –> 00:16:36,944
(Rockhopper)
Aye!

379
00:16:36,980 –> 00:16:39,981
And Rockhopper away too!

380
00:16:40,016 –> 00:16:43,651
Only much, much slower.
(sighs)

381
00:16:45,955 –> 00:16:47,655
Come on!

382
00:16:47,691 –> 00:16:49,857

383
00:16:49,893 –> 00:16:51,659
Hey, party penguins,

384
00:16:51,695 –> 00:16:53,795
who’s ready for the Merry Walrus?

385
00:16:53,830 –> 00:16:57,732
Oh, oh, oh-oh, oh, oh

386
00:16:57,767 –> 00:16:59,534
Oh, oh…
(gasps)

387
00:16:59,569 –> 00:17:00,935
And here he comes now!

388
00:17:00,970 –> 00:17:02,937
Ooh!
Ooh!

389
00:17:10,780 –> 00:17:12,580
Klutzy, take the reins.

390
00:17:13,917 –> 00:17:15,883
(laughing maniacally)

391
00:17:15,919 –> 00:17:17,685
Geronimo!

392
00:17:20,957 –> 00:17:23,825
Heads up, penguins!

393
00:17:23,860 –> 00:17:24,959
(squeaks)

394
00:17:24,994 –> 00:17:28,696
Ho ho ho!

395
00:17:28,732 –> 00:17:30,565
I spent two weeks

396
00:17:30,600 –> 00:17:32,934
making the Merry Walrus this
beautiful eight-layer cake.

397
00:17:32,969 –> 00:17:37,605
That’s four layers a week!
Awesome!

398
00:17:37,640 –> 00:17:38,639
Bull’s-eye! (note: “Bullseye” will pass, “Bulls eye” doesn’t)

399
00:17:38,675 –> 00:17:39,974
Time to close the circle

400
00:17:40,009 –> 00:17:41,776
with the final present

401
00:17:41,811 –> 00:17:44,846
and give everyone a Happy Merry Walrus!

402
00:17:48,551 –> 00:17:49,917
(laughing maniacally)

403
00:17:49,953 –> 00:17:52,553
What?!

404
00:17:52,589 –> 00:17:54,689
Those blasted penguins escaped,

405
00:17:54,724 –> 00:17:57,625
but they’re too late.

406
00:17:57,660 –> 00:17:58,860
(laughing maniacally)

407
00:17:58,895 –> 00:18:01,696
Oh, no!
Herbert dropped the last present!

408
00:18:01,731 –> 00:18:03,564
Take her down, Merry Walrus!

409
00:18:03,600 –> 00:18:06,467
Righty-o!

410
00:18:06,503 –> 00:18:10,838
Uh, guys, you do realize
our catcher is Fumbles, right?

411
00:18:10,874 –> 00:18:12,573
No, I got this.

412
00:18:12,609 –> 00:18:14,876
I mean, I’m relatively sure I’ve got this.

413
00:18:14,911 –> 00:18:17,912
Ooh! Got it!

414
00:18:17,947 –> 00:18:19,614
Roofhowse!

415
00:18:19,649 –> 00:18:20,748
He’s too heavy!

416
00:18:20,784 –> 00:18:22,750
Aah!
Aah!

417
00:18:22,786 –> 00:18:24,652
Ohh!
Whoa!

418
00:18:24,687 –> 00:18:25,720
(grunts)

419
00:18:25,755 –> 00:18:27,622
(whimpering)

420
00:18:27,657 –> 00:18:29,791
Impossible!

421
00:18:32,796 –> 00:18:33,861
Huh?

422
00:18:33,897 –> 00:18:35,663
I’ve got to get that present!

423
00:18:35,698 –> 00:18:36,864
(grunts)

424
00:18:38,635 –> 00:18:39,734
It’s Herbert!

425
00:18:39,769 –> 00:18:42,503
Everybody, clear the dance floor!

426
00:18:42,539 –> 00:18:43,671
(all shouting)

427
00:18:45,542 –> 00:18:48,543
Not so fast, penguins!

428
00:18:48,578 –> 00:18:49,710
(grunts)

429
00:18:49,746 –> 00:18:51,879
Whoa. Whoa, whoa, whoa!
Whoa. Whoa!

430
00:18:51,915 –> 00:18:53,948
No one’s going to stand in the way

431
00:18:53,983 –> 00:18:56,751
of my Merry Walrus!

432
00:18:56,786 –> 00:18:57,919
Oh, yeah?

433
00:18:57,954 –> 00:19:00,588
Oh, Merry Walrus.
Hello.

434
00:19:00,623 –> 00:19:04,625
Herbert, you’ve been a very bad bear,

435
00:19:04,661 –> 00:19:06,594
but despite that,

436
00:19:06,629 –> 00:19:08,863
I’ll still give you a present.

437
00:19:08,898 –> 00:19:11,699
Now get off my sleigh!

438
00:19:11,734 –> 00:19:14,569
(screaming)

439
00:19:15,939 –> 00:19:18,873
I got it! I got it!

440
00:19:18,908 –> 00:19:19,907
I don’t got it.

441
00:19:19,943 –> 00:19:22,543
Yep, saw that comin’.

442
00:19:22,579 –> 00:19:24,879
(screaming)

443
00:19:27,750 –> 00:19:29,584
(groaning)

444
00:19:29,619 –> 00:19:30,785
I’m okay!

445
00:19:30,820 –> 00:19:32,653
Ow!
(groans)

446
00:19:32,689 –> 00:19:34,622
Klutzy!

447
00:19:34,657 –> 00:19:35,656
Ow!

448
00:19:35,692 –> 00:19:37,792
(whimpering)

449
00:19:49,706 –> 00:19:50,905
Oh, dear.

450
00:19:56,779 –> 00:19:57,845
(Blizzard)
Fumbles!

451
00:19:57,881 –> 00:19:59,547
Hoo-hoo-hoo!

452
00:19:59,582 –> 00:20:01,949
You did it!
You saved Merry Walrus!

453
00:20:01,985 –> 00:20:04,719
Just like the prophecy foretold!

454
00:20:04,754 –> 00:20:06,020
Except without the waffles.

455
00:20:06,055 –> 00:20:07,989
No, we all did it.

456
00:20:08,024 –> 00:20:09,891
Yeah!
We did!

457
00:20:09,926 –> 00:20:12,693
Save some warm fuzzies
for the rest of the island.

458
00:20:12,729 –> 00:20:15,863
We have cheer to spread.
(laughs)

459
00:20:19,702 –> 00:20:23,871
Everybody do the Puffle Shuffle!

460
00:20:23,907 –> 00:20:26,741
Oh, oh, oh-oh, oh, oh

461
00:20:26,776 –> 00:20:32,013
At least in here I finally get
some peace and quiet.

462
00:20:32,048 –> 00:20:34,682
This is how we do it
this time of year…

463
00:20:34,717 –> 00:20:40,688
Noooo…!

464
00:20:40,723 –> 00:20:42,690
(grunting)

465
00:20:42,725 –> 00:20:43,858
(gasps)

466
00:20:45,762 –> 00:20:46,761
(music mutes)

467
00:20:46,796 –> 00:20:47,862
(contented sigh)

468
00:20:47,897 –> 00:20:49,830
Shuffle

469
00:20:49,866 –> 00:20:51,999
Keep your eyes
to the sky…

470
00:20:52,035 –> 00:20:53,634
(sighs)

471
00:20:53,670 –> 00:20:56,604
(gibberish)

472
00:20:56,639 –> 00:20:59,540
Thanks for everything, uh, Enrique.

473
00:20:59,575 –> 00:21:02,743
Here, I’ve got something for ya…

474
00:21:02,779 –> 00:21:03,744
matey.

475
00:21:03,780 –> 00:21:05,513
Avast!

476
00:21:05,548 –> 00:21:07,915
Here be me donation to Coins for Change.

477
00:21:07,951 –> 00:21:10,685
Ye didn’t think I’d keep it, did ya?

478
00:21:10,720 –> 00:21:12,720
Oh, thanks, Rockhopper.

479
00:21:12,755 –> 00:21:15,923
Besides, me accountant says
I’d have to pay taxes on it.
(laughs)

480
00:21:15,959 –> 00:21:17,959
Fine job today, matey!

481
00:21:17,994 –> 00:21:22,630
How about joinin’ me as a pirate
for your next great adventure?

482
00:21:25,835 –> 00:21:27,635
You know something?

483
00:21:27,670 –> 00:21:28,803
I think my next great adventure

484
00:21:28,838 –> 00:21:30,838
might be right here at Club Penguin.

485
00:21:30,873 –> 00:21:33,808
That’d be good ’cause I
sold your boat for scrap.

486
00:21:33,843 –> 00:21:35,710
You what?!

487
00:21:35,745 –> 00:21:37,545
Ah, that’s okay.

488
00:21:37,580 –> 00:21:38,846
Hey, guys, wait for me!

489
00:21:38,881 –> 00:21:40,648
Fumbles is one of us now!

490
00:21:40,683 –> 00:21:41,649
Whoo-hoo!
You bet!

491
00:21:41,684 –> 00:21:43,617
I always liked this kid.

492
00:21:43,653 –> 00:21:45,586
Hey, now, do the big dance

493
00:21:45,621 –> 00:21:47,621
Dance the Puffle Shuffle

494
00:21:47,657 –> 00:21:48,956
Get your way now
to the big dance

495
00:21:48,992 –> 00:21:51,625
Dance the Puffle Shuffle

496
00:21:51,661 –> 00:21:53,861
Oh, oh, oh-oh, oh, oh

497
00:21:53,896 –> 00:21:56,630
Dance the Puffle Shuffle

498
00:21:56,666 –> 00:22:01,502
Arr, I’ll say it again,
that was some party!

499
00:22:01,537 –> 00:22:03,738
There’s a lesson to be learned there,

500
00:22:03,773 –> 00:22:05,940
but lessons are for scurvy dogs!

501
00:22:05,975 –> 00:22:07,608
In the meantime,

502
00:22:07,643 –> 00:22:10,611
it’s good to be a pirate, eh, mateys?

503
00:22:10,646 –> 00:22:13,748
(cheering)

504
00:22:13,783 –> 00:22:18,753
Merry Walrus to all
and to all a good flight!

505
00:22:18,788 –> 00:22:20,821
I see what you did there!

506
00:22:20,857 –> 00:22:23,524
Rockhopper away!

507
00:22:23,559 –> 00:22:27,528
(laughter)
