On This Day In Club Penguin History – November 5

On the fifth of November Club Penguin has updated in 2007, 2008, and 2010. In 2007 a new PSA mission was released, in 2008 fireworks were temporarily added to the game for Guy Fawkes Night, and in 2010 a new pin, a new clothing catalogue, and new login screens were released.

The PSA mission released on this day in 2007 was the fifth one, titled Secrets of the Fur. In this mission you have to solve the mystery of the fur that was found in prior missions, as at the time we did not know who it belonged to. Although the PSA is no longer active you can still play it in the EPF Command Room as an EPF Training Mission.

In 2008 some fireworks were temporarily added to the Ski Hill and the Iceberg in celebration of Guy Fawkes Night.

The last year with updates on this day is 2010, in which a new pin and clothing catalogue were released. The new pin was the Water Tap Pin and could be found at the Beach. This pin is Club Penguin’s 139th pin overall and is the third pin to be hidden at the Beach.

Another update in 2010 was a new penguin style for the month. It featured rain gear, as November 2010 was the month Card-Jitsu Water was released. When that year’s Halloween Party ended on this day, the clouds that turned the island dark during the party remained, causing the sky to be gray – meaning a rainstorm was coming.

The final updates in 2010 were two new login screens. There was a new ninja login screen saying “Ninjas. Get ready for a new challenge.” and also a new login screen advertising stamps. Card-Jitsu Water is the challenge the ninja login screen was referring to.

  1. Remember, remember the 5th of November!

It’s kind of sad that they don’t add the fireworks anymore, it was a nice touch! ;)
