On the 22nd of November Club Penguin has updated in 2005, 2012, 2013, and 2014. In 2005 you could now change your igloo to a different one, and in 2012, 2013, and 2014 a new quest unlocked at the party or event that was taking place on the island at the time.
Up until November 22, 2005 all penguins were stuck with the small blue basic igloo. It’s the igloo every penguin has when they join Club Penguin. With the launch of this new feature, the Igloo Upgrades catalogue, there were now several igloo designs players could pick from. Below is the full blog post Billybob made about the feature. The little fluffy things he refers to are puffles.
We thought we would surprise you this week with one of the most exciting changes yet!
Starting today, you can upgrade your igloo by changing its color or its size. And don’t worry, we plan on offering even more options in the future!
In other news, we have captured a few more “little fluffy things” and we let one out of its cage into a closed room and so far they seem to be safe. In fact, it was so happy to be let out of its cage, it immediately jumped for joy as a little tear trickled down its cheek. More news tomorrow as it develops.
Until then, Waddle On!

The updates in 2012, 2013, and 2014 all have to do with that month’s party or event that year. In 2012 the next piece of Operation Blackout could now be completed, in 2013 at Operation Puffle you could now rescue the red puffles from the Puffle Chase game, and in 2014 at the Pirate Party you could now battle the crabs on the treasure chest at the Town.
