On the 5th of March Club Penguin has updated in 2010 and 2015. In 2010 the Penguin Style was updated for the month and Rockhopper visited the island again. In 2015 the Penguin Style was updated, a new pin was hidden on the island, a few minor updates occurred, and the final issue of Club Penguin’s magazine was now for sale in the United Kingdom.
In the March 2010 Penguin Style both spring wear and celebrity wear were added for the upcoming Penguin Play Awards, which was a big event that month.
The only other update in 2010 was Rockhopper visiting the island again. His free item for all players was the Hidden Treasure Background. From his catalogue members could purchase the Admirals Hat for 400 coins and the Admiral’s Coat for 450 coins. They could also purchase the Barrel Chair furniture item, which cost 230 coins each.
The biggest update in 2015 was a new edition of the Penguin Style. This time around it contained puffle themed clothing.
The next update was a new pin being hidden on the island. It was the Glitterpants Pin. This pin is Club Penguin’s 304th pin overall and is the eleventh pin to have been hidden at the Cove.
There were also some minor updates on this day in 2015. Space Adventure: Planet Y returned to the Stage for a fifth showing, its final one before the Stage’s closure in a couple months time.
The featured postcard selection was also updated too, now listing many puffle themed postcards.
The final minor update was a new login screen. It advertised all of Club Penguin’s mobile apps and read “one membership – unlimited access!”
Finally, although not in-game, Club Penguin released their 41st and final issue of their magazine in the United Kingdom.
