On the 31st of December Club Penguin has updated in 2010 and 2014, plus in 2013 and 2014 Club Penguin released their best of the year video.
On this day in 2010 the 29th field op mission was released. Its location was the Hidden Lake in the bottom left corner where the abandoned Aqua Grabber machine resides. Also, the Happy New Year postcard was added to the postcard catalogue. Club Penguin also added their yearly fireworks to the Ski Hill and Iceberg and released the Party Favors Pin at the Ski Hill. The Party Favours Pin is Club Penguin’s final pin of 2010 and was their 144th pin overall. It was the fifth pin to be hidden in that room.

While there were no updates on Club Penguin in 2013, the team did release their best of 2013 mashup remix music video.
A new and improved version was uploaded in March 2014.
The same was done for 2014, too.
Speaking of 2014, Club Penguin also had fireworks at the Ski Hill and Mountain to celebrate the New Year.
