On the 6th of October Club Penguin has only updated in 2006. That month’s Penguin Style was released. Another thing also happened on this day in 2006 – I purchased my first ever Club Penguin membership. With the exception of a few months, I have been a member on Club Penguin ever since then. That means I’ve spent roughly $800 on membership for my penguin so far. o.O
The October 2006 Penguin Style contained….you guessed it – Halloween costumes. The first page contained the Black Cape, Red Cape, and Superhero Mask, which is now known as the Black Mask. (It’s kind of funny it was originally called the Superhero Mask, since at the Marvel Superhero Takeover it was an item for villains…) The Red Cape and Superhero Mask were returning items from 2005 and the Black Cape was all new. The next page featured the Clown Costume, a brand new outfit. The page next to the Clown Costume was empty and items were filled into that spot during that month’s event,the Halloween Party. The items added to the empty page were the Ghost Costume, returning from 2005, the Wand, the Fairy Wings, and finally the Skeleton Suit – all new items.
