On This Day In Club Penguin History – April 20

By / April 20, 2015

On the 20th of April Club Penguin has updated in 2007, 2011, and 2014. In 2007 the stage platform was added to the Lighthouse and new furniture and igloo catalogues were released. In 2014 two more items were available at the Puffle Party.

The Lighthouse opened to the public in September 2006 but at that time there was no permanent stage. There was a stage platform on the left side of the room when the room opened, but only because the Penguin Band was performing – after that celebration ended the stage disappeared. That changed on this day in 2007, though, when Club Penguin updated the room to add the stage platform so penguins could form a band and play the instruments released in that month’s Penguin Style. A week before the stage was released some boards were placed in the room.

Also in 2007 the furniture and igloo catalogues were updated. Back then furniture and igloos were in separate catalogues. The April 2007 furniture catalogue had some spring cleaning items such as the vacuum and vacuum, broom, and mop & bucket. The April 2007 igloo catalogue contained the all new Split Level Snow Igloo. It cost 4,600 coins.

In 2011 the 41st field op mission was released. Players had to go to the Dock and destroy the target in the mini-game.

In 2014 there was one update. Two new items were available at the party. All players could go to the Beach to collect the Vet’s Head Mirror and members could get the Puffle Vet Coat item, too.
