On This Day In Club Penguin History – November 21

On the 21st of November there have been updates in 2008 and 2013. In 2008 Card-Jitsu was released, there was a new pin, a new furniture catalogue, and a new stage play. In 2013 Operation Puffle began, the Puffle Hotel received some minor updates, and a new issue of the Club Penguin magazine was released in the United Kingdom.

Starting with the 2008 updates, Card-Jitsu was released at the Dojo! Penguins could now work hard to become a ninja by earning their belts and defeating Sensei to get the Ninja Mask. Ninjas could access the exclusive Ninja Hideout, a room that no longer exists.

On the other hand the new pin was the Snowflake Tile Pin to go along with Card-Jitsu. It was hidden at the Beach to the left of the Lighthouse door. The Snowflake Tile Pin is Club Penguin’s 77th pin overall and the second pin to be hidden at the Beach. Another update in 2008 was the Better Igloos furniture catalogue, It was updated for the month and featured lovely Holiday themed items for member penguins to purchase and decorate their igloo with. Check out the awesome cover:

The final update in 2008 was the launch of a brand new stage play, Fairy Fables. The Fairy Fables play features the characters Twee, Prince Redhood, Big Bad Wool, and Grumpunzel. Fairy Fables has been at the stage multiple times since November 2008, also showing in June 2009, January 2010, September 2010, September 2011, May 2012, September 2013, and most recently, June 2014.

Moving away from 2008 and jumping all the way to 2013, there was a huge update: Operation Puffle! The sequel to Operation Blackout, the big Elite Penguin Force operation in November 2012, this time Herbert captured Puffles and was working to control their minds, using them to dig coins and take them to an unknown location. Each day you had to play a mini game to chase down Puffles and remove their brain boxes to collect a color chip. You would earn coins and items from the mini-game.

There were also a few minor updates at the Puffle Hotel in 2013. In the lobby Club Penguin removed the Puffle Hats on the right side of the room and added beds. Also the food area on the right side of the room was changed into a miniature restaurant. At the spa the chairs were changed and a ball was added to the platforms in the top left of the room. Finally, on the roof Club Penguin added a comb in the pool and added a ball on the right behind the DJ booth. There was also a new issue of Club Penguin’s magazine in the United Kingdom.

  1. I loved Op Puffle! No doubt it was one of the best parties in CP.

Op Blackout is better tho. Also, I wouldn’t consider this party as the best party of 2013. I’d consider the best party of 2013 would be the Marvel Superhero Takeover 2013.

I hope there’s another Marvel Party next year for the release of the movie Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. Protobot could work out perfectly as Ultron!

    • everyone has their favorites, but i can’t choose! All of the parties were amazing! I did op. blackout on a different penguin than i use now,so it really stinks cuz i love the stuff you got from it…..and i am a nonmember on it but a member on the penguin i use now…….but i totally agree with you!
