On This Day In Club Penguin History – March 17

There were two updates on the 17th of March in 2006. The Pet Shop room opened to the public for starters, which meant Puffles could be adopted! The first Puffles were Blue, Black, Green, and Pink. Not only that, the first ever Club Penguin Pin, the Shamrock Pin, was released in the Coffee Shop for two weeks. Since then there have been over two hundred different pins over seven years. We’re glad to say that puffle adoption has finally begun and many puffles have already found new homes. Please try to take good care of your puffles and let us know what you think!
