Club Penguin Overhauls Parent Account System

On Club Penguin’s parents page there is a new parent tools login. This is the same as the manage accounts page, but with a new design!

When you login at the top you’ll see the penguins under your parent account listed. You can add penguins and change your password, view penguin details, and more.

As you scroll down more options appear too. There is the chat mode you can update.

There is the account timer to control how long and when you can play.

There is the payment history (which takes forever to load)

Connection history over the past seven days (I wish you could see total time played!)

There is also the ban history, however due to a bug it lists all ban durations as forever. There are also some other bugs which I covered on my Club Penguin Bugs website here.

Overall, this is a great refresh (minus the annoying bugs) to the parent account page since it has been untouched since July 2008.

  1. I like it a lot! I wonder if they will ever redesign the way we view our clothing items in player cards, though. It is very annoying to click the down arrow a thousand times! I wish for a scroll bar!

    BTW, my penguin is 2000 days old today!

    • Congrats on 2K! That’s quite the accomplishment. :D And Polo Field did say that the team does want to do something about that one day.

  2. My grandma hates it. Shes the one who watches over us here
    It used to have a chart showing all six of us at once now she has to look at each one sepratly.

  3. Well, it would be all nice if the thing worked. I’ve been trying to “recover my lost password” (which I’m sure I know, since I use a password manager, but is being rejected by clubpenguin.com) for *weeks* now. I eventually gave up and emailed tech support, who told me the entire parent password recovery is “down at the moment”. Down for weeks? This is completely unacceptable… Now, they want me to send some information over email that I’d prefer not to, or to call a number during business hours, when I’m busy working. How nice… :\
