On This Day In Club Penguin History – July 10

On the 10th of July Club Penguin has updated in 2009 and 2014. In 2009 the Music Jam preparations began and Ruby and the Ruby was rereleased at the Stage again. In 2014 the furniture catalogue was updated for the month, the igloo music was updated, and a new pin was hidden.

For the Music Jam preparations crates of decorations were placed at the Beach, Lighthouse, Iceberg, Cove, Forest, Soccer Pitch (Stadium), Snow Forts, Dock, Coffee Shop, and finally the Ski Village. The party began the following week on the 17th.

The other update in 2009 was Ruby and the Ruby returning to the Stage for a second showing. It was first at the Stage in September 2008.

Two of the three updates in 2014 relate to igloos. The biggest update that day was a new furniture & igloo catalogue for the month. It contained the all new Tour Bus Igloo, which is 1,800 coins. It also had a big selection of kitchen, garden, and music themed furniture items.

The other igloo update was new igloo music. Tunes such as Cadence’s ‘Best Day Ever’ and Zendaya’s ‘Replay’ were added.

The final update in 2014 was a new pin. The Life Preserver Pin, Club Penguin’s 282nd pin, was hidden at the Forest. This was the 19th pin overall to be located in this room, however if you exclude the Fall Fair prize booth and Advent Calendar from the 2011 Holiday Party then it’s the eleventh pin to be hidden at the Forest.
