Club Penguin Monsters University Takeover Party Confirmed Along With Logoff Screen
The rumours are true! The June party is a Monster’s University takeover! Here is the announcement post from Polo Field:
I have some VERY exciting news to share with everyone… We’re partnering with Pixar for a brand NEW party… the first-ever Disney Pixar Monsters University Takeover!
Ever since Club Penguin started, we’ve been HUGE fans of Pixar. We’ve always looked up to their brilliant creative team, and we dreamed that one day we’d get to work with them.
Well, that day has arrived! Prepare to scare…
We can’t wait to share the scary-awesome stuff we’ve got planned. Stay tuned to the blog for more updates!

Amazing, Club Penguin has become another way to advertise Disney…
Where are the original ideas? Blooming, fresh, fun ideas that everyone actually enjoyed, instead of this poor attempt at making more profit out of an online game… I miss that Club Penguin. Don’t you?

No,club penguin is still the same but disney makes advertisements for cp and than cp owes disney one,and they make a party for disney

I wan’t to cry. Disney are just trying to make money of kids by advertising their movies. This is why I left Club Penguin in 2010 and moved to Club Penguin Private Servers because the art style changed and the parties changed. It would be nice if Screenhog and Rsnail would come back.

1. Cars Party? We don’t even have Cars on Club Penguin (Excluding the Bean Counters Truck and the Wheelers), and it would simply be ridiculous…
2. Toy Story? Are we going to shrink and turn into toys or what? Simply no please…
Many of those movies simply don’t fit on Club Penguin that only few fit, like Finding Nemo Water Party, UP Festival of Flight, etc.

Does anyone know that Club Penguin is ad free? They advertised Marvel (Marvel Superhero Takeover 2012 & 2013), Shake It Up (Ultimate Jam 2012), Innocent Smoothies (Adventure Party: Temple of Fruit 2012) and now Monsters University. I liked the parties but it’s advertising!!

Being a Pixar fan, I can see this has some potential. I just wish it was a party that included all of Pixar’s films. Also, I find it a bit strange that the party starts a week after the movie is released.

I don’t really care about if the party is an advertisement, as long as it is good – that’s all that matters for me. I understand why people dislike them though and I won’t argue with them over that, so I respect your opinion.

One of my little cousins has been hoping for a Monsters Inc party for a while now..
When he emailed CP they told him a lot of other kids had asked too.
He’s going to be so happy.

If you don’t like the party that is going on, there’s still normal places to go.
They started that after the Marvel party last year, and parents of the younger kids wouldn’t let them play until the party was done..-
That sort of thing shows they DO listen.
