On This Day In Club Penguin History – May 25

On the 25th of May Club Penguin has updated in 2007, 2011, and 2015. In 2007 the Cove opened at a special members only party and a new pin was released. In 2011 the beta team on Club Penguin’s website was updated. Finally, in 2015, a new item was available at the Fair.

On this day in 2007 the Cove room was released. For the first few days the room was only accessible to members during a special grand opening event. Members could access the room, hang out and swim, and also collect a free item, the Life Ring. Nonmembers could collect the Whistle at the Forest, since all players could access that room. While the Cove was members only only until May 29th, the Whistle was available at the Forest until the 1st of June. The Catchin’ Waves game was added to the Cove at a later date.

The other update on this day in 2007 was the Starfish Pin being hidden on the island, specifically the Mine. It is Club Penguin’s 33rd pin overall and was the first pin to be hidden in that room.

As for 2011 updates, Club Penguin’s beta team section on their website received another update. Places For A New Map was removed and Snow Cone was re-added, although it was still broken and unplayable.

In 2015 there was one update. The Rainbow Winged Helm head item was now available at the Fair. It could be collected in exchange for 100 tickets.

    • Look on the middle of the right side, you’ll see a penguin in the ghost costume, night vision goggles, 1st year party hat, red cape, and sandals. (right above the penguin saying “well” and below the penguin saying “jkin”) That’s me.
