On the 27th of December Club Penguin has only updated once, back in 2012. That year a new pin was hidden and a new logoff screen was added advertising the upcoming (and first ever) Prehistoric Party.
The new pin released on this day in 2012 was the Holiday Cookies Pin. It was Club Penguin’s final pin of 2012. The Holiday Cookies Pin is Club Penguin’s 234th pin overall and is the ninth pin to be hidden at the Cave.
The only other update in 2012 was a new logoff screen advertising Club Penguin’s upcoming Prehistoric Party. The advertisement revealed that members would be able to fly, stomp, and roar at the party, which was going to begin on January 17, 2013.
