Club Penguin Changes Design of Unreleased Meteor Pin

As you might recall, last month I posted some photos of some unreleased pins, including a Meteor Pin. I was checking for more unreleased items today, when I noticed something: Club Penguin redesigned this unreleased pin into a different shape! It looks weird in its new form.

I wonder why the change? Maybe this new meteor shape will be the meteor that replaces the one Herbert took from the space craft during Operation Crustacean?
