Club Penguin Splits Up Furniture and Igloo Catalogues Again; Releases July Editions; Updates Igloo Music

Club Penguin updated the furniture and igloo catalogues today. That’s right, catalogues. Not catalogue. They’re separated again! Plus there’s new igloo music.

…except just like the penguin style, it’s trash. These catalogues, too, are image based. They look like trash, the content is lacking, and there’s no more hidden items. First up is the igloo catalogue:

And here’s the furniture catalogue. I honestly expected some Inside Out themed furniture, but there is absolutely nothing. Just some random items with no theme.

Thumbs down from me. At least the igloo music is nice!

  1. First what I did after logging into CP was checking Festival of Snow from the beginning (Ski Hill) to the end (Iceberg) and I was like “WOW, THAT’S AWESOME, I LOVE CP AGAIN!”. Then I checked new catalogues and all the magic flew away :/

    • Me too.
I like it when they reissue things from 4 or 5 years ago
      BUT
except for 3 items (which are reissue from before I joined) this is all just… USED.

    • cp is still awesome, maybe the inside out party will have it’s own party catalog, so shut up with all this mean stuff about cp.

      • It’s not mean; they’re just expressing their thoughts about this month’s catalog.

It’d be mean if it was like “THIS CATALOG IS STUPID! DISNEY RUINED CP!” or such kind of crap with no big relevance to the comment.

After all, there isn’t anything bad to like, and hate something.

  2. Looks like Club Penguin have stopped using SWF files for the catalogues. It could be a sign that project super secret is on its way. Also, why hasn’t the furniture got any names?

  3. I hate the new look of the catalogs. Also why did they spilted up?? And there are random iitems. What and airoplane and a cave have to do with summer?

  4. OMG! Yeah CP, that makes the most sense in the world! Merge them together, then split them up again! Hmmm… maybe next you will get rid of the catalog completely! >:-|| Booo!

  5. Here is what does not make much, if any, sense to me: why are the igloo/furniture catalogs being released in the first week of the month? I am not sure what they made that a thing, albeit, I know it was recent. These used to be released the second, and sometimes third, update day of the month, but now it is the first? The image-based concept is terrible. On top of that, there is little to no theme with this month’s furniture catalog items. It is almost as if they rushed the whole thing. But wait, there’s more: Club Penguin did not hold a party last month because of planning for the future and all of that stuff…why did they not utilize that time to plan out this furniture catalog? Even moreso, why did they make the change to release it this week instead of next? I enjoyed it being released two weeks in instead of one week in because that gave the second update week of the month something ‘big’. Why can’t they go back to that? Why can’t they give themselves more time to plan out the catalog contents? There were a few very random items in the Penguin Style catalog this month. Some of them were old favorites, but regardless, they were randomly tossed in. They thought out the Festival of Snow perfectly – they returned two items that were perfect for the event and showcased plenty of nice designs. But they couldn’t keep the ball rolling on the catalogs. I’m not one of those people who sits here and says things like “Club Penguin is going to end this year!” or “Well, Club Penguin sucks. It’s going to end next year. Or this year. It won’t survive until 2017 with this load of c—“, however, it is very noticeable that their content is taking quite a decline this year. They need another month like June 2015 (where they don’t have a party and they work on stuff behind-the-scenes and plan out) in the worst sort of ways – planning ahead and properly yields better results.

  6. The items are completely random…They don’t go together.
I mean…Who is going to keep a train station bench with a small garden,a jukebox, a medieval trapdoor, a beanbag and some leaves in an Airplane or a Wildlife Den?
