Nonmembers Will Soon Be Able To Adopt a Rainbow Puffle

If you’re a nonmember and wish you had a rainbow puffle, Club Penguin has some good news for you. If you log on to Club Penguin through their mobile app at some point between May 21st and June 3rd, you’ll be able to adopt one for free – plus you get to keep it after the Rainbow Puffle Party on mobileĀ is over!

Here’s Megg’s big announcement post, published to the Club Penguin Blog earlier today:

Big news folks!

To celebrate the rainbow puffle coming to the Club Penguin app, EVERYONE that logs in to the app from May 21 to June 3 will be able to adopt the rainbow puffle FOR FREE! How great is that? So great.

The best part? Players who currently don’t have a membership and adopted a rainbow puffle during the two weeks of the party, will still get to walk and play with their puffle after the celebration is over! :D

Remember! The rainbow puffle will be free for everyone from May 21 to June 3, only on the Club Penguin app.

What do you think of everyone being able to celebrate the party by adopting the rainbow puffle for free?

That’s great news!

  1. Strange huh? They put a member-only puffle available to everyone, and ask themselfes why the membership numbers are decaying, while some employees lost they jobs cause of it.

  2. Great! I mean for a long time blue and red were the only colors available for nonmembers so the ones who can’t afford memberships are probably happy crazy right now.

  3. hm, if I was a non-memer I would want green and purple next but I guess it makes sense to do rainbow if their doing a rainbow puffle party on the app :/ although why not make it for everyone all the time? to make it for everyone for a limited time seems kind of sleezy unless its like rare items or something like that

  4. Cool :D my little cousin wanted a rainbow puffle but he wasn’t a member so I gave him my penguin for a few days haha x)

        • then u don’t have a Samsung (and before u say “oh that doesn’t count” everything else for Android I can get on it so yea they lied about it being on all version)

        • “They lied about it being on all version” No, you should probably find someone to look for any problems with your device. You might not have enough space.

        • do u know anything about my device? no. do I uninstall updates from apps I don’t use to make room for new ones. yes how about you come back and say that when the app says “Your device isn’t compatible with this version” and won’t even show up on the list of CP apps on Google Play for you. btw bubsey not-so-good why don’t u stop poking ur nose into my business sense u obviously hate me

        • If I’m not mistaken, it still works in some Samsung devices. My mom owns a Samsung Tab III (or something similar idk exactly its name) and the Club Penguin App is downloadable. Not sure about other apps such as Sled Racer and SoundStudio though.

        • I have a Galaxy Tab 3 and for some reason it won’t work with mine and sorry for coming off all dragon and everything in the last comment but bubsey is so mean to me and I’m sick of like hello if u hate me so much just ignore me pretty sure no one else is gonna have a penguin LA super star picture so it should be pretty easy to avoid me (and yea Sled Racer and Sound studio work on mine but Sled Racer is the only one I play sense Sound studio is full of bugs and glitches and it just seems pointless to me to download an app when u can take 5 minuets to log into CP and go to dance club for the same thing… ya know when CP is up)

  5. I consider this to be a choice of doing something quick from part pof the Clubpenguin team to bring back some of the players they lost. However I still consider this to be a very well and efficient way for Non-members to have a chance at member items they could not unlock for so long.

  6. CP does it all the time.
Lots of things, from ninja levels to igloos, used to be members only.

I like it… temporary access to something is sort of like a beta hat.

We have members and nonmembers both in my family.
The nonmembers like it as much as the members, but all but one still want to earn membership.
(In my family you must earn money for your membership, but they’ll give you jobs to do.)

  7. I’d rather adopt a Wild puffle like a Raccoon puffle or Unicorn puffle. B/c I already have a Rainbow puffle.
Sometimes I used to get membership for the catalog stuff, furniture, or exclusive party items, though.
