On This Day In Club Penguin History – February 24

On the 24th of February there were three updates in 2012, one update in 2013, and one update in 2014. The biggest update on this day in 2012 was that month’s big event, Rockhopper’s Quest.

At Rockhopper’s Quest we boarded Rockhopper’s ship and went on a quest across the sea to several different locations such as Dinosaur Island and Shipwreck Island. You know that red dot in the telescope at the Lighthouse Beacon? It’s a shipwreck beacon on Shipwreck Island. During the quest we put it there.

Along with the party Club Penguin released a new pin, which was the Helm Pin. It was located at the Ski Hill. It is Club Penguin’s 196 pin and was the sixth pin to be hidden in this room.

The final update in 2012 was the 70th field op being released. It was located on Shipwreck Island. The game was to power the chipset by guiding the micro battery.

In 2013 there was one update. The Gold Award item was now available for members at the awards show at the Hollywood Party.

There was also one update in 2014. The Blue Balloon Sword item was now available for everyone at the Fair’s prize booth. It cost 1,500 tickets.
