Trainman1405 In Real Life: My Trip To Northlandz

It’s no secret I love trains. Earlier this month I went on a day trip to New Jersey to visit Northlandz, which is the world’s largest model railroad. That place is huge! There’s over 100 trains traveling more than 8 miles of track. It took about two hours to walk through the building and see the whole layout and take it all in. I definitely enjoyed it there. I brought my iPad along with me and took a lot of pictures, which you can see in the gallery below. If you’re interested in visiting Northlandz you can find out more on Northlandz.com. Here’s all the pictures I took. You can click the images to see the full size. You can click the arrows or use the arrow keys on your keyboard to go through them all.

And to those wondering when I’ll answer the questions from my Trainman1405 In Real Life “ask me anything” from months ago….the answer is soon. Patience is virtue. :-P

  1. Yeah, it’s taken you half a year, and into the next year to finish it. :P
Anyways, that model looks fantastic! It would be cool to see in person.

    • I’d work on it during winter break (aka right now) but the history course I’m taking is a good 6 hours of work a day so I can’t really get to it. :/ If I’m lucky I’ll be able to do it after the class ends (I think January 11th) and before my spring classes start about a week later.
