Club Penguin Digital Short: Late For Work

To go along with the theme of the School & Skate party, Club Penguin made a digital short featuring skateboarding with the plot of being late for work. It’s been a while since Club Penguin last made a digital short, so it’s nice to see them doing one again. You can watch the video below:

The video is, of course, really an advertisement as at the end it gives you a link to order a skateboard from Club Penguin’s Zazzle store.

For what it’s worth, I will say this: I do not know how well the quality of the board’s wood is (reviews seem to say it’s good) however it is a bit pricy. The board itself (aka the wood part) itself is $64, and another $110 for trucks and wheels, which means you’re paying up to as much as $174. A big name brand skateboard (such as Element, Girl, DGK, or Plan B) from a store such as Zumiez is only going to cost about $50, then another $60-$80 max for wheels and trucks. Definitely a huge price difference between what a skate shop and what Zazzle charges. The skateboard I assembled at Zumiez back in 2008(?) only cost me $130 total. Just sayin’.

  1. tragic tbh. they need to work on a game that has activities in it that take more than 50 seconds to complete, and not rip off merchandise.
