How To Adopt a Ghost Puffle On Club Penguin – Floors 11, 12, and 13 of the Haunted Puffle Hotel

It’s time for the epic conclusion to the Haunted Puffle Hotel’s quest! After completing the full quest you can adopt a Ghost Puffle if you are a member. I must say, what a great ending! I’d now like to bump up my rating of a 6/10 for the party to a 8.5/10. ;)

The riddle on floor 11 is “Another riddler guards this floor, but words are not what it waits for”.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.07.44 AM

The riddler is a statue and the answers are emotes – specifically the ones you see on the wall, although they weren’t in that order for me. A sample riddle is “When you’re out and see a friend, this is how your mouth will bend” and the answer would be the “:)” emote.

If you’re wrong, you’ll definitely know

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.08.28 AM

Once you complete the several riddles the statue will move to reveal the machine piece.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.09.07 AM

After you collect it, the final piece, Skip will talk to you.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.09.13 AM

You will need to head to floor 12 to use the ghost catcher.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.09.20 AM

You need to step on the red button to capture the Ghost Puffles, as instructed by Skip.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.09.27 AM

So do that…

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.09.32 AM

The button will turn green.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.09.35 AM

The machine will turn on…

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.09.37 AM

…lights will light up…

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.09.39 AM

…gears will begin to spin…

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.09.41 AM

…and the Ghost Puffles will be vacuumed!

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.09.42 AM

The Ghost Puffles will all then be in the big container.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.09.44 AM

Skip will tell you that their ghost energy is bottled up.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.09.48 AM

But then…what’s this? What’s happening? Why am I in a makeshift jail cell?

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.09.52 AM

Wha? What’s up with Skip? He’s a ghost?!

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.09.54 AM

The jail cell will then rise upward to the thirteenth and final floor…

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.10.16 AM

BAHAHA! You caught the ghost puffles for me! NICE! Now I’m gonna use their ghostly energy to haunt all of Club Penguin! You thought the Puffle Hotel was scary? Wait ’til you see what I have lined up!

Gariwald, who is trapped on floor 13, will speak up. He says: “Oh my! He’s tricked us both. Can you escape your cage somehow?

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.10.24 AM

If you’ve taken the EPF agent test before, you should be able to figure out what you need to do.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.10.29 AM

That’s right! Throw a snowball on the electrical box.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.10.37 AM

Once the snowball hits it will shut off the power to your jail cell so you can escape.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.10.40 AM

But Skip isn’t done yet. He’ll block your path.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.10.50 AM

You need to throw another snowball, this time on the wood above him on the right side of the machine. Aim for the wood that’s not above him, to his left a little bit. The wood will fall down and temporarily stun him, so you have to act quick and waddle past him and on to the red button.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.12.27 AM
The red button will turn green.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.16.31 AM

Skip: “WHAA? That was SUCH a good plan! NOOO!

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.16.36 AM

Goodbye, Skip! It was nice to know you.

Screen Shot 2014-10-26 at 12.16.39 AM

After that the Ghost Puffles are free. Gariwald will talk to you. Moxie means determination, by the way, in case you didn’t know. :-)

Now you can adopt a Ghost Puffle if you’re a member and get the Bellhop Hat if you’re a nonmember. (or a member, of course)

Hooray, that’s all for the quest! Be sure to log on a few more times during the party though, as more items will be unlocked.

How did you like the quest? Some days were easier than others which I did not like, but overall the Club Penguin Team did a great job on it this year so props to them. I hope there are more quests (and possibly a little more challenging and without the obvious snowball throwing) in the future.

Happy Halloween!

    • Mine’s Ghosty. Also, did you notice their Puffle Digging? They go through the ground to find the treasure, which is so cute ^-^

  1. Frankly, this is now my 2nd favorite Halloween Party. I really like how CP made a WONDERFUL job with the storyline and best of all, adding a plot twist at the end.

It would be really cool if Skip actually becomes into an official CP Villain (like Herbert, Protobot, and Tusk). He would have competition with Dot the Disguise Gal by tricking people in having a different identity. It would be very cool to see him again.

Well done CP. Out of all the parties you’ve done in 2014, this years Halloween Party is so far my favorite party of 2014 with 2nd being the Prehistoric Party 2014 and 3rd being The Fair 2014.

    Good job ;)

    • “good job” “congratulations cp” “wonderful job” “well done”
_|_ i hate when these 14,12 year old pretend to act like this…. .

      • FYI, I am 15 years old, and I am being honest when criticizing something. Most of the parties in 2014 were a mock to every other year in CP.

I fail to understand how because I enjoy something, you claim that I am 12-14 lying about the party. Even if the party sucked, I’d still be honest and critique the party so CP can take note of their mistakes and do something better in the future.

For an outstanding party which took place in a year filled with boring and disappointing parties, CP made a good job.

Next time, proofread your comment :)

  2. Personally my favorite quest was the one from Operation: Blackout. It’s too bad Club Penguin hasn’t had a good one since then..

  3. Nobody except me knows my password but somebody logged into my account and did this last bit of the quest…. I cant change my password either because its set-up with my fathers account and he has gone somewhere for work.

  4. Honestly this is the best party of 2014. If CP could stick with a gameplan similar to this party in the future then I think we could have a lot more 8.5/10 ratings. One reason this party was so good is because it has had 10 years to develop and nearly all of the rooms are decorated, with a mix of new and returning. If CP could continue to return old rooms to future parties and add brand new ones then I am positive the parties will be awesome. I personally would say that whatever party had the Halloween scarf was my favorite one because it was my first Halloween party. (Back then, in early 2007, that was when I played Webkinz more than CP, but as the years advanced I slowly migrated towards CP only).

  5. This is so cool. When I first went to the puffle hotel I thought he would have been a good penguin. Like a guide. But after I saw this plot twist I knew this was going to be a good party.

  6. Well, this is my favourite Halloween Party now closely followed by Halloween Party 2012. It was a good story with some fun puzzles and a shocking plot twist I didn’t see coming. It would’ve been funny if you could go back to Floor 12 to see Skip trapped in the ghost machine, though.

They should make Skip into a bigger villain, as well. I could see him working well with Herbert and I can imagine that he would give Dot a run for her money with the whole disguising thing. I also wish that the battle was a little more dragged out, maybe including the things you had to do in previous puzzles (redirecting a laser/light, having to make your way through a maze within a time limit, etc.) I think it would’ve been cool if the puzzles were longer and harder, too.

Overall, my favourite party of 2014, with the Penguin Cup in second and The Fair 2014 in third. It could have done with improvements and I prefer Operation: Blackout’s quest but this is a party that I think will be seen as a true classic in the future.

  7. I think that Club Penguin is going to be inspired to make more awesome parties like this because of all the good comments on it. This is my 1 favorite party in 2014, and my 4 favorite party of all cp.
    1. Ultimate Jam 2012
    2. Teen Beach Movie Summer Jam
    3. Holiday Party 2013
    4. Halloween Party 2014

  8. hey train i have a few things
you lowercased he’ll in the beginning of the sentence
in one picture it looks like you became skip haha
i think 2014 was the second best year first being 2013 even though i only joined in october 2013
    i like puffle creatures
if you don’t agree with the other two before this its my opinion so don’t get mad if its not your opinion the people who are hating disney for ‘making these parties boring’ and for hating 2014.
i think this party is a 9.9.9.9.9.9/10 LOL

  9. Hey Trainman. I have a question

Didn’t you say in a previous post that there would be something about saving the Rainbow Puffles from clearing out the storms, a special Rainbow Puffle quest? Idk…

  10. It Was Suprising, How Skip Has Tricked Us This Whole Time. My Ghost Puffle’s Name Is Josiah, And So Far, I Give Rating 10/10 For: Halloween, Puffle Party, Future Party, Penguin Cup, And Fair.
