On This Day In Club Penguin History – January 11
On the 11th of January there has only been one year with updates. That year is 2008. There was one minor update and one large update.
Back in late November 2007 Club Penguin had removed the heart and skull emotes and added new emotes such as the ice cream ones. Players were upset that the heart emote was removed, so, after a month and a half of being absent in-game, the team re-added it on this day in 2008.
As for the large update on this day in 2008, Club Penguin changed the play at the stage, releasing their third ever play. It was Squidzoid vs Shadow Guy and Gamma Gal.
