Goodbye DJ3K, Hello SoundStudio!

DJ3K is gone for good, but don’t worry! An even better mixing system called SoundStudio has taken its place. Check it out at the Dance Club:

In SoundStudio you can make music. Members can save and share their tracks. Nonmembers can only make music.

SoundStudio has four different genres you can choose from. Pop, rock, dance, and dubstep. I’m sure more styles will be added in the future. Under each style there are loops and one-shots. Loops are a musical loop that plays the whole song and the one-shots are brief sounds effects that play once each time you click the button. You can record tracks up to three minutes in length.

If you’re a member, once you make a track you have to give it a name. Although, I must admit, the filter is VERY dumb. It won’t allow “Random Idk”…

…but allows “Randomidk”…spaces are allowed in tracks so I don’t know why the filter won’t allow it. =/

You can then choose which track to share and see how many likes it has.

You will then hear the tracks those sharing it have created in the Dance Club. Your penguin will appear on the screen. On the right you can click the like button to like the track.

Just like igloos you can only like tracks once per day.

You can select which track you want to hear too.
