Today Club Penguin posted a teaser video of the Joy emotion during the Inside Out Party. Here’s what the team had to say about it:

I’m wondering why they’re wearing fake beards. Is Rockhopper’s beard fake?
They are wearing pirates costumes.
why are they in pirate outfits? it (sort of) makes sense because they are in RH but in one of the trailers for the movie all of the emotions looked pretty much the same no matter in whose body
They’re all in pirate outfits because Rockhopper’s a pirate. If you watched the movie, at the end it reveals other characters emotions. A dogs emotions are all dogs, a cats emotions are all cats, and a bus drivers emotions are all bus drivers, Therefore, a penguin pirates emotions are all penguin pirates.
alright I haven’t seen the movie (yet) but all I remember is in one of the trailers 3 charaters emotions all looked about the same except for clothes and gender so that’s wat I based my comment off of (shrugs) I was wrong
