Club Penguin Uploads Quest for the Golden Puffle Video For Throwback Thursday

By / November 8, 2013

Here’s a clever move by Club Penguin! Yesterday for the first time ever the Club Penguin Team participated in Throwback Thursday, which is a social media trend where users post an old photo or video on Thursday, hence the term “throwback”. Club Penguin uploaded the Quest for the Golden Puffle trailer, which is very fitting since the Gold Puffle is nearly here.

It’s Throwback Thursday! Check out this classic Club Penguin video clip from May 2010. This promo clip for the play “Quest for the Golden Puffle” was originally released during the Penguin Play Awards.

May 2010? I believe you mean March 2010, as the Penguin Play Awards were from March 18th to March 29th.

Would you like to see Club Penguin do Throwback Thursday weekly? I sure would! You can check out the Quest for the Golden Puffle stage play on this page.

Hey guys – the reason this was labelled as May 2010 is because that was the date on the actual file in a folder. We very much remember history, rest assured.

Hey Polo, I agree with you! I can’t wait till next week. But, can you make it able to adopt 22 puffles?

If you actually saw the comment (the real) Polo Field left, he says that they didn’t forget history, it was just labeled as that.

Can’t say for sure but didn’t these trailers come with the Penguin Play Awards 2009 (which we all know this play won the most categories in)? Not trying to make anyone sound incorrect because I think I might be with this comment. :S
