Mech Mice Beta Is Out Now!

Rocketsnail’s new game Mech Mice has now begun beta! Go to http://play.mechmice.com/ to play it. Below is a short overview of the first level.

You may need to install Unity Web Player to play. It is a safe download! If it says you need to like shown above just click it and it’ll take you to the page to download and install it. Then you can create an account or log in if you already have.

The first level is called The Beginning. Your orders are to repair 3 radar towers, meet up with the Heavy unit, and report anything unusual.

At the top of your screen is where your orders and guidance appear.

The game is entirely different than Club Penguin. For starters, it’s not a virtual world! Although multiplayer is in the works it is still nothing like Rsnail’s original game. You move about the map by clicking on spots performing the necessary tasks. You might even find secret tokens on the level…

Obstacles have a red ring around them. You click them to shoot them down. Eventually they disappear.

Other items on the map have green rings on them. These are good. You’ll also meet up with other team members who you end up controlling.

Further into the first level you’ll come across bugs which you have to shoot down. They do shoot back, so be careful!

Luckily healing flowers give you full health.

Swirly portals mark the end of the level.

Once you complete all the tasks and go through the swirly portal victory is yours and you can advance to the next level.
