Club Penguin Sending New Welcome Activation Emails

Within the past few days Club Penguin has switched to a brand new more modern and sleeker looking penguin activation email when you first create a penguin. Previously, emails looked like this with a gray background and brief overview of the game.

Now they look much more fancy and appealing! There’s a blue background, a picture of the island, and a penguin. The penguin even changes in the email, from standing there to throwing a snowball. And yes, I made a penguin called Joejonas998…no I do not plan to use it. It was the first penguin name that came to mind. I don’t even like the Jonas Brothers! :P Here’s the full email you receive:

You’ll also get this follow up email. The penguin also changes on this one, doing emotes such as the clover, heart, and pizza.

I do like this change! It looks very nice, although I think the padding between the text and the sides of the email should be a bit greater. And I don’t really know if the  “Welcome to Club Penguin!” text is supposed to be placed where it is, I feel like it’s out of place. Either way, this is a cool modification!
