Club Penguin To Be At iKids Conference

By / December 6, 2011

Here’s a little real news having to do with Club Penguin in the real world. Both Club Penguin and Angry Birds representatives will be at  the second annual iKids conference, which is a Kidscreen Summit companion event dedicated to everything related to kids and the digital world.

While I doubt any of you will be attending (as passes for it start at $700), I thought it;d be worthy to mention that Chris Heatherly, the VP of product development and franchise at the Disney Interactive Media Group will be there to discuss Club Penguin and its brand extensions in 2012. There will also be some presentations and panel discussions that are designed to explore the innovation of combining mobile content, social media, and web entertainment in the kids space. While I doubt the name sounds familiar, Chris is the man who helped make Club Penguin toys become a real thing back in 2008. The event will take place on February 6th at the Hilton New York.
