On the 29th of June Club Penguin has had updates in 2007, 2009, and 2011. In 2007 the Catchin’ Waves game had survival mode added, in 2009 Club Penguin launched in Spanish, and in 2011 the Beta Team stopped loading again.
Catchin’ Waves was released in early June 2007, then updated several weeks later on the 29th to add survival mode to it.
In 2009 Club Penguin said hola amigos and launched in Spanish! This was the third foreign language the game was available in, with the other two being Portuguese and French.
The final update was in 2011, although it was on Club Penguin’s website and not in the virtual world itself. The beta team stopped loading again.

Not sure if you knew this, but CP is removing Russian and German. There are banners on the Russian and German sites that say this:
Russian (translated):
Warning, the penguins! On September 2, 2015 you will no longer be able to play “Club Penguin” in Russian. Your profile will remain a penguin, and you can play in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish. To learn more.
German (translated):
Caution, Penguins: From September 2, 2015 their Club Penguin can no longer play in German. With your existing account you can, however, in English, French, Portuguese or Spanish to continue.
I also translated the German FAQ, and apparently all German and Russian memberships are cancelled, along with that you can’t create a penguin on the German or Russian sites anymore.
German (I was too lazy to translate the Russian FAQ xD):
At June 30, 2015, all existing memberships have been terminated, which were bought under clubpenguin.com/de in German. There are no additional charges, except it is a new member in English, Spanish, Portuguese or French bought. All existing 30 June 2015 Club Penguin memberships have free and unlimited access to our German server until the release is closed for that language on September 2, 2015.

On September 2, 2015 Disney Club Penguin is closed in German.
As of June 30, 2015 Players can not create new penguins more in the German version. Nevertheless, we would be very pleased if you create a new penguin in the English, French, Portuguese or Spanish version.
