On This Day In Club Penguin History – July 21

On the 21st of July there were two updates in 2006. Club Penguin’s 10th pin was hidden and the Penguin Band Instrument Hunt began.

Club Penguin’s 10th pin was the Astro Barrier Pin. It could be found at the Snow Forts. As for the Penguin Band Instrument Hunt, after performing at the Western Party (sidenote: sorry for missing the day to write about it :c) the Penguin Band lost their instruments and you had to find them in the style of a scavenger hunt! As a reward for finding all of the instruments you would obtain the Penguin Band Background, an item that has never reappeared in game ever since. Here’s a video of it in action:
