On the 12th of June there have been updates in 2009, 2013, and 2014. In 2009 the Adventure Party began and the play at the Stage was changed. In 2013 a new pin was hidden, new igloo music was released, and the furniture catalogue was updated for the month. In 2014 the igloo music was updated, a new furniture & igloo catalogue was released, a new pin was hidden, construction began for the Penguin Cup, and the Penguin Prom began.
The 2009 Adventure Party was Club Penguin’s first ever one. It began with Rockhopper sailing to Club Penguin and bringing many exotic plants with him, which then grew immensely, turning the entire island into a jungle. At the party there was a free Green Safari Hat item for all players. It was located at the Plaza. Members could pick up the Tropical Bird item at the Tree Forts, a special room made just for this party. There was also an Adventure Party Background that all players could earn by completing the scavenger hunt. For the scavenger hunt you had to find certain plants and animals around the island.
The other update on this day in 2008 was the Stage’s play being updated. It was Fairy Fables again. This was its second showing.
As for 2013, the new pin hidden on this day that year was the Neon Flamingo Pin. This pin is Club Penguin’s 247th pin overall and is the thirteenth pin hidden at the Coffee Shop. Also, the igloo music was updated with some Monsters University related tracks and also some classics such as I’ve Been Delayed. Finally, that month’s new furniture catalogue was released, featuring many new items relating to Monsters University, such as the Monster Door Station, Monster Archway, and JOX Pennant.
In 2014 the igloo music was updated and a new furniture & igloo catalogue was released. Penguin Cup Anthem, Shark Beatz, Hot Sauce Rock, Squids Score, Hello Hellow, This is CPSN, and Stadium Ambience were the new tracks. The Furniture & Igloo Catalogue contained the all new Soccer Pitch igloo location and also contained furniture items such as the Soccer Goal, Stadium Bleachers, and Go Sharks banner.
Also in 2014 a new pin was hidden, the Orange Slice Pin. It is Club Penguin’s 279th pin overall and is the ninth pin to be hidden at the Hidden Lake.
There were two other updates in 2014, too. Construction for the Penguin Cup began and the Penguin Prom, a mini event, also began. Both the Snow Forts and the Stadium were both being worked on for the construction and for Penguin Prom you could dance, celebrate graduation, and pick up a free Graduation Hat and School Dance background.
