On This Day In Club Penguin History – February 28

On the 28th of February there has been updates in 2007, 2013, and 2014. In 2007 a mysterious bottle appeared in the Telescope, in 2013 there were updates such as EPF construction, the Red Nose Day event, the Card-Jitsu Snow beta test, and in 2014 a new item was available at the Fair.

In 2007 a bottle appeared in the telescope at the Lighthouse Beacon. It was floating towards the Club Penguin island.

On March 1st it reached land. It turned out that the bottle contained a message from Rockhopper and Bambadee, explaining their story. The story can now be read on the bookshelf at the Book Room – it’s called Rockhopper and the Stowaway.

That’s all for 2007. In 2013 there were multiple updates. The first update was EPF construction. Back in November 2012 during Operation Blackout Herbert destroyed the Everyday Phoning Facility and relief efforts did not begin until now. There was a free Mining Helmet in the Ski Village.

Another update in 2013 was the Red Nose Day event. Red Nose Day was a charity event hosted by the UK team. In the Coffee Shop you could get a free background and Red Nose item. Here is the video the Club Penguin Team made about the event:

Another update in 2013 was Quest for the Golden Puffle being released at the Stage for the seventh time.

Minor updates on this day in 2013 include PH announcing the construction of the Puffle Hotel in the newspaper, a login and logoff screen advertising both the Rainbow Puffle and the Puffle Hotel’s grand opening at the upcoming Puffle Party, the eighth issue of Club Penguin’s magazine being released in Brazil, and finally the mobile apps page was updated on Club Penguin’s website.

There was also a special update on this day in 2013, but it wasn’t in the Club Penguin game itself. The team released a special web-page where you could help beta test Card-Jitsu Snow before its official release. Anyone who helped beta test the game received the Snow Beta Hat.
