On This Day In Club Penguin History – September 19

September 19th in Club Penguin history takes us back to 2008 and 2013. In 2008 there was one update and in 2013 there were many updates. The update in 2008 was a new furniture catalogue. It contained theatrical and school related items. Here is one of the pages:

Club Penguin September 2008 Furniture Catalog

Brand new items in this catalogue were the Ticket Booth, Red Carpet, Popcorn Machine, Velvet Rope, Blue Curtain, Classroom Desk, Classroom Chair, and Wall Chalkboard. Re-released items included the Student Desk and Chalk Board.

In 2013 there were a lot more updates compared to 2008. The biggest update was the Medieval Party beginning, and along with that Gary was waddling around the island. New login and logoff screens advertising the party were also added. A new pin was released too, and if you lived in the UK you could now purchase the 22nd issue of Club Penguin’s magazine.

At the 2013 Medieval Party Gary gave you a book of potion recipes. You had to collect different ingredients around the island and each day new potions were unlocked. The potions could be brewed in a mini game, and if you messed up you would be turned into a Puffle Chicken. Unlike past medieval parties there was no Knight’s Quest, which upset a lot of players. On the other hand the new pin was the Fluffy Crest Pin and you could find it at the Book Room.
