On This Day In Club Penguin History – July 16

On the 16th of July there were updates relating to the Music Jam, a new pin, and a new furniture catalogue.

Starting with the 2010 Music Jam’s updates, on this date the party had already been out for a week. For the first week the Penguin Band was performing at the Iceberg. When Club Penguin updated on this day a sign was put in their spot saying they were on break. While on break you could meet the Penguin Band in several rooms such as the Backstage, Casa Fiesta, Dock, and the Iceberg. The Backstage and Casa Fiesta were rooms just for the party. The Music Catalogue backstage was also updated. More instruments were added, the Tambourine and Orange Double Necked Guitar.

The new pin was a Tambourine. You could find it on the Ski Lodge Attic on the blue couch in the top left corner of the screen.

Finally, the new furniture catalogue for the month was released. As you might have guessed, the main theme of the catalogue for July 2010 was music. The July 2010 Better Igloos Furniture Catalogue featured new items such as the Congo Drum and Guitar Amp and also brought back classic furniture items such as the Concert Lights, DJ Table, and Drum Kit.
